History

Emerald Reporting Service was formed in 1989. In 1997, Emerald Reporting Service acquired Associated Reporters, Inc., and we then became Emerald-Associated Reporters, Inc.

In 1989, Susan formed Emerald Reporting Service after freelancing for five years. With much hard work and dedication, Anthony graduated from Stenotopia, a court reporting school in Long Island, New York, in 1992 and joined Emerald Reporting Service. Susan and Anthony then acquired Associated Reporters in 1997 and the agency became what is now known as Emerald-Associated Reporters.

The field of court reporting is ever evolving and becoming increasingly competitive, Emerald-Associated Reporters is on the cutting edge of technology. Our court reporters are very professional and are highly trained in their profession. Our motto is, "Your Words Count" and, therefore, we have a highly regarded quality-controlled system.
